John Isaac Moses

John I. Moses, 81, of Riley Township, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. He was born in Fremont Township (Sanilac County) on June 1, 1931, a son to the late Roy P. and Olive L. (Doan) Moses. He married Virginia Louise Bear on March 18, 1955 in Columbus Township.

John was employed by Armada Rubber Company as a millwright. He was a member of Sparlingville Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia; children, Steve (Benita) of Ruby, Peggy Bishop of Caro, Anita Quinn of Imlay City, Timothy (Leona) of Mt. Clemens, Andrew (Anna Marie) of Warren and Michael (Angie) of Istanbul, Turkey; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren: two brothers and four sisters.

Services will be on Monday at 12 noon in Sparlingville Baptist Church (5230 Griswold, Kimball, MI 48074) with visiting in the church from 11 A.M. until the time of service at 12 noon.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made directly to the family for Global Partner Missions.
