William A. Smith III

William A. Smith III, 71, of Riley Township, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, June 8, 2012. He was born in East Detroit, Michigan on September 10, 1940, a son to the late William Arthur Smith II and Lillie Harvey.

Bill was employed as an automobile salesperson. He loved his church and enjoyed shooting guns and playing keno.

Surviving are his daughters, Selena (Don) Onesi of Oakland, Debbie Diller of Wadhams, and Kathy (Rob) Rothenhoefer of Imlay City; his son, William A. (Kelly) Smith IV of Virginia; the mother of his beautiful children, Jacqueline Burton; eight grandchildren; his brother, Alan Smith; and sisters, Gail Foster and Renee Smith.

Services will be at 7 P.M. on Monday, June 11, 2012, in Kammeraad Funeral Home, Memphis, Michigan with visiting in the funeral home on Monday 2-7 P.M.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Memphis Volunteer Fire Department, Memphis, MI 48041.
